The location was acceptable. It was easy to find.
the absence of staff on-site meant i had no one to address my concerns immediately. the lack of a television was also a noticeable omission for the price paid.

a cozy stay with great amenities
hot water bottles tasty biscuits reliable wifi cozy room
the room had lovely little touches, including hot water bottles and tasty biscuits. i appreciated the fast and reliable wifi throughout my stay. setting up the table and chairs by the window allowed a nice view in the evenings. the experience was a real retreat, even for a short stay.
The stairs to the entrance were steep. This could be a slight issue with heavy luggage.

my ensuite double room on the top floor provided ease and comfort. the room included extra touches like fresh flowers, it showed attention to detail. pillows were soft, the bed was comfortable and well kept.

Fab coffee facilities were available in the room. the biscuits were a welcome treat. They enhanced the experience. there were also some nice bars and eateries close by. i really enjoyed the available tea and coffee.

quite ok
convenient location peaceful garden thoughtful touches absent reception steep stairs echoey floorboards
the location was nice, near the bus stop. the garden outside felt peaceful and quiet. there were coffee available in the room.
There was no reception, so i didn't meet anyone. the stairs down to my basement room were quite steep. i found the floorboards a bit echoey. A carpet would have been nice.
